Our beloved 96 year old mother, grandma, and great grandma, Victoria Perkins, passed away at 9PM on Saturday night, July 19, 2014, at the South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Florida. Please join us in celebrating her memory at The Altamonte Chapel Community Church on Sunday afternoon, August 3rd, 2014. This will not be a viewing, as there will be no open casket. This will be a chance, in a quaint remembrance service, for us to honor her life, with happy photos of when she was alive in the flesh, and to wish her spirit well as she joins the loving arms of other loved ones who have passed on before her, in heaven. If you cannot make it, we understand, but please try. Mom and I have decided that we will also perform grandma's favorite songs, in honor of her memory. FYI: We were very close. Its just been the 3 of us for the past 14 years like The Golden Girls lol ^_^ Three generations, now just two, until I get married and have kids which'll be God knows when lol... She did live longer than the average person. With relatively good health until the last month or two. We are grateful to God for that. :) But the fits of tears come and go. It's difficult to move on when you grow up with somebody, especially a strong personality like her. Especially after being her caretaker for so long. I keep hearing her voice or seeing her face or I look at her pink I Love Grandma mug that we usually use to make her coffee in every morning and I start crying. Cant look at her purse or the recliner she use to always sit in without feeling pain. I even had to take all her mugs and hide them cause they just depress me now... :,( I hate death. Even though I'm happy that her spirit is now free and happy up high with loved ones and the Divine... we miss her badly... ♥ Thank you for all your love and support. Those of you who have offered your condolences are truly good people, and we will remember your goodness and kindness in the future... Right now, we all need great prayer and renewed strength.
